AT A GLANCE
The Thomas family has been growing grapes and making wine in Sancerre since 1670. Today, Julien and Justine represent 13 generations of winemaking, farming 16 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir based out of the hamlet of Verdigny. The estate has two distinct soil types expressed in each of their bottlings. The wines of Domaine Thomas are not shy but express great texture and length with assertive, full flavor. Julien has taken the helm at the estate, instituting organic and biodynamic principals and carving out a new, more natural path for the future of the Thomas family with native yeast fermentations. No Chemicals have been used on the property since 2012. Practicing organic.
