AT A GLANCE

Vicus is produced from the estate vineyards of Tenuta Cavalier Pepe in the heart of the Campania region. The Pepe family vineyards reside in the best DOCGs; Taurasi, Avellino, and Tufo, and the Irpinia DOC at elevations between 1200-1700 feet above sea level on volcanic and calcareous soils. Angelo Pepe’s daughter, Milena, is a graduate of Viticulture and Oenology in France and started making the family wines and running the estate in 2005. With growing tourism on the Amalfi coast, the Campania wine region is growing quickly in popularity in the U.S. and throughout the world. One of the most important white wine growing regions in the world today. Integrated farming practices.
