Fenrose
Colline Novaresi (DOC)
48% Nebbiolo, 47% Vespolina, 5% Uva Rara
The Fenrose is a very special rosé. Sourced from a single plot of old vines in the Val Grande National Park and named after the regional section of this park, Monte Fenera. A dry wine with a delicate color, the Vespolina expresses elegant floral notes with mandarin, strawberry, and stone fruits. The palate is lush and textured. The finish is fresh with minerality and a white pepper spice.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Organic farming practices, old vines, high elevation, volcanic soils; all of these factors contribute to a distinct wine with concentrated aromatics and a texture that is fun and engaging to drink. It is the only known rosé produced within the region of Boca and the Monte Fenera park. Only red wine is recognized by the DOC laws of Boca so this is labeled as the greater Colline Novaresi DOC. Less than 500 cases produced!

Boca
Boca DOC
70% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina, 10% Uva Rara
The northern Piedmont has many exciting regions, styles, and grape varieties. Nebbiolo in the blend brings comparisons of Barbaresco but the Vespolina grape expresses a strong floral spice with anise and rich raspberry. Less dense than Barolo or Barbaresco, Boca is a captivating wine with an energetic palate, ample acidity, and tannin that matures with time.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Fermented with native yeast, and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels, the wine sees a minimum of 4 years aging after the harvest. Sourced from the top of an ancient supervolcano, the soil compositions come from deep within the earth. The vineyard is within the protected area of the Val Grande National Park and is farmed organically at high elevations.
